Mikaela Norkus

Articling Student

Bio

Mikaela received her J.D. from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Arts (with High Distinction)  from the University of Toronto in History.

Mikaela was a 2024 summer student and Group Leader at the Queen's Family Law Clinic, where she assisted self-represented litigants in court with written advocacy and client-facing compassion. 

During law school, Mikaela participated in the Walsh Family Law Moot and she and her partner were recognized for First Place Respondent's Factum and Second Best Team Overall.  Mikaela was also a Research Assistant in the Centre of Law in the Contemporary Workplace at Queen's Law and a Student Editor for the Queen's Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal.
