
Bio
Lila is a compassionate and thoughtful advocate for her clients. Lila provides representation in parenting and financial matters, as well as drafting of separation agreements.
Lila articled at Epstein Cole after receiving her J.D. from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. Lila also has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Northern British Columbia.
During law school, Lila had a wide range of legal experience including: Placement with the Office of the Chief Justice of the Ontario Superior Court, Summer Internship with Justice of Children and Youth, Blog contributor with Rosen Sunshine LLP, Volunteer with Canadian Civil Liberties Association. Lila competed in the 2023 Walsh Family Law Moot & Negotiation Competition.
Lila has also volunteered her time to mentor others with the Women's Legal Mentorship Program as the National Student Program Events lead, the BC Arabic Legal Support Centre, and the Justice Education Society (BC). Lila was a recipient of the Canadian Arab Institute's 30 Under 30 award in 2023.
Lila has working proficiency in Arabic.
