Bio
Alexi is our 2025 Summer Student.
Alexi will complete her Juris Doctor at Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law in Halifax next year. Alexi obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Toronto.
Alexi founded the Dalhousie Family Law Society and, under her leadership, the Society was recognized as the "2025 Society of the Year" by the Law Students' Society, as selected by the Dean. She is particularly excited that the Society has organized funding and approval to field their first team at the Walsh Family Law Moot next year.
Alexi has also been a Project Coordinator for the Consent Project, a pro bono initiative aimed at educating middle and high school students about consent and sexual assault laws, and a Student Advocate at the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service for students who have academic integrity offences.
Alexi is also a writer and editor at the Weldon Times, the student-run, independent, newspaper at the Law School at Dalhousie.
Last summer, Alexi interned at Luke’s Place in Oshawa, supporting women who have experienced intimate partner violence, in their family court cases.
