Because our summer and articling students are potentially future associates and partners, we consider student recruitment to be a top priority. In selecting summer and articling students, we look for well rounded individuals with strong academic credentials who show special interest in the practice of family law.
Epstein Cole LLP ensures that our students receive practical hands-on experience, mentoring and regular feedback. Students are integrally involved in all aspects of our day to day family law and solicitors' negligence practices. Students work closely with lawyers as a team.
Epstein Cole LLP is committed to ongoing continuing legal education for our lawyers and our students. We host a broad range of in-house seminars, which canvass both topics of general interest and topics of particular interest to family lawyers. Our summer and articling students are also encouraged to attend the Law Society of Upper Canada and Ontario Bar Association seminars on topics of interest.
Our compensation package includes salaries at rates competitive with downtown Toronto law firms. Articling students receive extended medical and dental coverage, life insurance, two weeks' paid vacation, and a membership to the Canadian Bar Association.
We encourage you to call any of our lawyers or students for further information on the firm or our student programme.
If you would like to apply for our summer student or articling student programme, please provide us with a cover letter, resume, undergraduate transcripts, and law school transcripts.
We follow and abide by the recruitment procedures and timelines for student recruitment set out by the Law Society of Upper Canada for both our summer students and our articling students.
