Since being called to the bar in 2013, Sarah has practiced exclusively in the area of family law. Prior to joining Epstein Cole LLP, gained extensive experience in family law practice as an associate at a leading family law boutique in Toronto. Sarah practices in all areas of family law including complex divisions of property, income disputes, child and spousal support, and custody and access matters, through both the litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes.
Sarah graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa with a Juris Doctorate in 2012. Sarah also received a Masters of Arts in International Affairs from Carleton University in 2012, where her focus was the Political Economy of Development. In the summer of 2011, Sarah attended the Bader International Studies Center in the United Kingdom and completed a Global Law Certificate. Prior to attending law school, Sarah graduated with high distinction from the University of Waterloo with a combined Honours B.A. in Political Science and Business, and a Certificate in French Studies.
During her time in Ottawa, Sarah completed an internship with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. Following the completion of her internship, she was hired as a Trade Officer and worked in the Global Business Opportunities Bureau.
While attending law school, Sarah sat on the Common Law Student Society as Academic Representative. Sarah was also actively involved in several child-focused organizations, including mentoring for the Down’s Syndrome Society of Canada and Big Sisters.
