Courtney Wile is an associate at Epstein Cole with a focus on family law.
Courtney was called to the Bar in 2013 after completing her clerkship for the Judges of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the current Senior Family Judge. During her clerkship she concentrated primarily on family law, and conducted in-depth research on a wide range of family law topics.
During her legal studies, Courtney served as Director of Research for the McGill Legal Information Clinic and interned at Just Solutions. She had extensive client contact in both positions, and developed a keen interest in working together with her clients toward creative resolutions.
Prior to her studies in law, Courtney received a Bachelor of Music degree from Acadia University and a Master of Music degree from McGill University, both in orchestral trombone performance. She performed professionally for several years prior to law school, including as a chamber musician throughout North America and as Principal Trombone of Symphony Nova Scotia.
