Bio

With perseverance and a quick mind, Adam resolves even the most intricate family law issues on behalf of his clients. He believes that understanding them and what they do is essential to determining the most practical and effective solutions for their unique situations. Whether through negotiation, mediation, arbitration or litigation, Adam is consistently focused on achieving his client’s goals in an efficient manner.

As a Partner at Epstein Cole, Adam can assist in all aspects of family law. Adam has significant courtroom experience, appearing at the Ontario Court of Justice, Ontario Superior Court and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He is also certified in Collaborative Family Law. Adam has a particular interest in jurisdictional issues.

Adam is a co-author of Unpacking Family Law for Practitioners (LexisNexis Canada) with Justice Melanie Kraft.

During his clerkship for the Senior Family Justice, the Associate Chief Justice, and the Judges of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Adam gained a broader perspective on family law advocacy from the other side of the bench. 

Adam strives to be more than your legal advisor – he is a voice of reason that you can rely on if you feel unsure or overwhelmed by the financial, personal and legal decisions you face.
